End-to-end R&D solutions in Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0

The I4ByDESIGN contributes to the creation and implementation of technological solutions in the production processes, the supply chain as well as in the production and provision of products & services.

Indicatively, the foreseen actions include: 

  • Database of skills and services / products offered by each member 
  • Digital-twin technology-based simulation tools for production line evaluation and predictive maintenance
  • Automation technologies related to the smart and flexible design of the supply and production chain
  • Supply chain digitization technologies (eg application of blockchain technologies)
  • Circular economy solutions
  • Cyber​​security services for Industry 4.0
  • Remote monitoring and control services for industrial processes, supply chain and logistics
  • Solutions for energy savings and energy management using RES, batteries, etc.
  • Robotic systems specially designed for the production units, to automate multiple processes.

The project I4ByDESIGN is implemented under the National Action Plan: «COMPETENCE CENTERS» and is co-financed by the European Union and national resources through the OP. Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPANEK).

The project started in July 2021 and is expected to be completed in January 2023.
